The conscious mind is the part of you that thinks and uses reasoning. Making decisions is this part's biggest role, you can accept or reject ideas with the conscious mind. The way you think will eventually determine the course of your life, but with some effort you can direct these thoughts to support your goals. However, your subconscious mind is much more powerful. It will accept every thought your conscious mind chooses to think. What does this all mean? You may have a negative subconscious in your head, I am here to spread the great news. That you have the ability within yourself to change this, if you make the conscious decision to change then your subconscious will follow. How will I do this? You may ask, I am here to tell you.
Affirmations, visualizations, prayer, gratitude, appreciation, and love. All these good feelings help the subconscious to go along with your conscious change to be positive.
Let me explain a little better, your subconscious has no ability to know if what you are feeling is real or imagined, past or present. Just think of a time that you felt amazing and joyful, you will be able to feel it like it is happening now. Thats why when you think of a memory not so good it can make you cry now.
Hippocrates once said, "Let thy food be thy medicine". I believe this to be true. Food can make us feel sick or bloated. We need to make sure we are putting the right foods into us each day, so we are able to function at our best.
